The Ibaloi Wanderer
What is this project?
“This special project is dedicated to showcasing my Igorot (Indigenous-Filipino) heritage and Queer identity through my artistic practices.
Growing up in a religious community, I’ve conditioned myself to dismiss these intersecting identities—I was taught that the only important identity was my religion.”
“My goal is to use this project as a platform for advocacy, and to reclaim my intersecting identities from shame.”
What is this project page for?
“This Page is the space where I showcase the work I do within the different artist festivals and residencies I participate in—highlighting my Queer and Igorot Identity: The Ibaloi Wanderer”
